If you fast forward to the :55 second mark, you can hear his woman cop partner describing this whole scene absolutely perfectly with a simple "ugghhh my goodddd!" It was one of those low, grumbling sounds that we reserve specifically for situations that are so awkward that they're painful to watch. You know that sound. You've used it before when watching bad karaoke, or a comedian bomb, or a Howard Dean speech. Throw this guy in to the elite category of awkward that is only reserved for legends of the game.
P.S. If you watch the video on CNN, they interview the officer about his motives behind this offensively embarrassing act, and his response: I'm trying to connect with the community. Uh, yo bro, you're not connecting with shit. This is why the mafia and gangs are all moving out to Kansas City and the rest of the midwest! Because idiots like you are making the cops look pushovers. Now, if you had worked Tootsie Roll, Robot, or Worm in to the routine, okay, sure, maybe there's something there to work with in terms of connecting with today's youth. But you didn't, and that's why crime exists in your neighborhood....
... credit where credit's due, though, this was a perfectly executed "Help, I've Fallen And I Can't Get Up":
P.P.S. This girl was OUT of there. Not having this awkward blood on her hands.
