Sometimes the internet just gets it right. This is one of those times. The weird overexposed lighting in every frame, the stupid close ups for the "dramatic" dialogue, the random bass sounds, and of course the explosions. Explosions as far as the eye can see. I'm pretty sure the house exploded about 5 times.
But I think the sneaky most perfect part of this video is the Linkin Park soundtrack. Honestly, it wasn't until I saw this that I realized that my brain subconsciously connects Linkin Park and Michael Bay. I'm not saying that Michael Bay always uses Linkin Park songs, no clue if he does or not, but my brain just told me that I view Linkin Park as a band in the exact same way I view Michael Bay as a director: over the top, annoying, seriously makes me doubt the overall intelligence level of society given the fact that they are able to get anybody to listen to/watch their stuff. It's like a Finkle and Einhorn situation.
So well done in making that connection visible to me, internet. Expanding my mind one remixed trailer at a time.
